Since 1957, Chad’s has been serving breakfast and lunch in Santa Barbara. This family-owned restaurant is known for classic American favorites, including famous buttermilk pancakes, Eggs Benedict, and hearty steak and eggs — all served with beautiful ocean views.
Today, Chad Stevens, grandson of the founder, continues the tradition, welcoming guests to enjoy great food, friendly service, and a relaxed coastal atmosphere. With outdoor seating and complimentary muffins, Chad’s is the perfect spot to start your day by the ocean.
Open seven days a week from 7:00 am to 2:30 pm.
Chad’s Café is located along the Santa Barbara waterfront, nestled between the Santa Barbara Harbor and Stearns Wharf, just steps from the beach. If you're driving, we offer free parking for our guests in the lot adjacent to the building, and we're also a short walk from many beachside hotels.
